Churchyard working party

 

The Churchyard working party comprises men and women, mostly retired, who gather on Tuesday mornings at 9.00am for about an hour and a half. We maintain the churchyard, cutting hedges and grass, pruning shrubs and small trees, clearing leaves in the autumn and making sure that the churchyard is an appealing place in which to spend time. Our backgrounds vary enormously which leads to lively conversation when we meet up and some pleasant conversations while we work. The group is open to all, not just church members.
